Second law efficiency analysis of air injection into inner tube of double tube heat exchanger

At present study, thermal performance of a double tube heat exchanger due to stream air/water two phase flow through inner is experimentally studied. Air and hot water were mixed in T-junction outside then followed into exchanger. Told rate was kept constant equal 2 lit/min. For rate, four different rates 3, 4, 5 6 lit/min considered. Also inlet temperature cold streams almost within range 17–19 °C 48–50 °C. Also, for air five 1, 2, 4 Volume fraction the 0.14 0.62. Obtained results analyzed based on several energetic exergitic parameters including pressure drop, effectiveness, Number Transfer Units, transfer coefficient, dimensionless exergy loss Witte-Shamsundar efficiency factor. Results presented an increment 33% 38% coefficient respectively. Maximum value factor found be 0.973 related 0.57 has occurred at counter flow.
